Choose the recruitment route first
HURL’s E-05/2026 recruitment is for experienced applicants. Start by distinguishing a regular executive appointment from a fixed-term contract; their service and compensation conditions differ. The official HURL career page confirms 6 November 2026 as the application deadline.
Regular roles and experience bands
The notice groups eight regular vacancies across Ammonia, Contracts and Materials, Mechanical, and Urea. Senior Ammonia and Urea positions allow the listed Additional Chief Manager, Senior Manager or Manager levels, requiring 16, 14 or 12 years of post-qualification experience, with age ceilings of 44, 42 or 40 respectively.
Contracts and Materials has one senior-level vacancy and two further deputy/assistant-level vacancies. The senior alternatives require 14 or 12 years of experience; the deputy/assistant alternatives require nine or seven. The two Mechanical positions allow Assistant Manager or Senior Engineer, requiring seven or four years. The separate Urea Deputy/Assistant Manager vacancy uses nine or seven years. Alternative designations within a vacancy are not additional seats.
Match the qualification to the discipline
Ammonia and Urea use the specified full-time Chemical/Chemical Technology engineering degree with 60% marks. Mechanical requires the corresponding full-time engineering degree with 60%. The materials stream allows the stated engineering or full-time materials-management MBA/PG-diploma routes. Compare the exact course, recognition and experience conditions with the full advertisement.
Fixed-term Security and Medical appointments
One Security position is shown at Manager/Senior Manager level, with the specified commissioned-officer background and 12 or 14 years of experience. Two Medical positions have Deputy Manager, Assistant Manager or Officer alternatives requiring nine, seven or five years. The medical qualification includes the listed industrial-health training or diploma alongside MBBS; it is not a general MBBS-only vacancy.
Pay is different from take-home salary
The printed regular scales range from Rs 45,000–1,50,000 for Senior Engineer to Rs 90,000–2,40,000 for Additional Chief Manager. The fixed-term table ranges from Rs 40,000–1,40,000 for Officer to Rs 80,000–2,20,000 for Senior Manager. CTC illustrations combine components and should not be described as take-home salary. Read the full terms for admissible benefits.
