See where your PF contribution goes
Calculate monthly employee PF and the employer’s EPF/EPS split using the current ₹25,000 wage ceiling.
Monthly estimates for a full wage month after the September 2026 change. EPS is part of the employer contribution, not an extra employee deduction. Excludes higher-pension arrangements, employer EDLI/admin charges, interest and withdrawals. Statutory payroll rounding and individual eligibility may change actual amounts. Numbers are calculated in your browser and are not sent to Qaskme. This is an independent educational tool, not a government service or filing advice.
How to use the PF calculator
- Enter monthly PF wages from your payslip.
- Choose capped or agreed full-wage contributions.
- Confirm the rate and EPS membership shown by payroll.
- Add voluntary PF only if applicable, then calculate.
A worked contribution example
At ₹25,000 monthly PF wages and the usual 12% rate, employee EPF is ₹3,000. For an eligible EPS member, the employer’s ₹3,000 splits into ₹2,083 EPS and ₹917 EPF. The total employee plus employer contribution is ₹6,000; EPF and EPS are shown separately so they are not double counted.
Employee and employer EPF together total ₹3,917 per month; EPS adds ₹2,083. Annual EPF deposits without interest are ₹47,004, assuming twelve identical months. EPS is pension funding, not an EPF savings balance.
