Medical Devices: qualification and experience
The essential qualification is B.E./B.Tech in Biomedical, Biotechnology, Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering, or M.Pharma. A relevant M.Tech or equivalent postgraduate qualification is desirable. At least three years of relevant work is required in medical-device manufacturing, regulatory affairs, R&D, testing laboratories or related subjects.
The role involves research, industry and regulatory analysis, briefing material and coordination. When preparing your application, show what you did in each relevant assignment rather than listing technical terms without evidence.
International Cooperation: Pharmaceuticals
The qualification is the master’s/integrated qualification in M.Pharma or M.Sc. (Pharmacology) listed in the role sheet. A minimum of three years of relevant experience is required in the pharmaceutical industry, relevant regulatory/government work, consulting/research, trade and market-access analysis or related data analytics.
The work supports pharmaceutical policy, trade-related analysis, meeting briefs and international engagements. Knowledge of APIs, KSMs and drug intermediates is desirable. Check the exact qualification wording in the downloadable document if your course title differs.
Who can apply as a Young Professional?
The YP sheet accepts a relevant master’s degree, B.E./B.Tech, MBBS, LLB, CA/ICWA or the specified relevant professional qualification earned after graduation or an equivalent qualification. Applicants must be no older than 32 on 31 October 2026.
Tasks include meeting support, drafting, tracking references, portal monitoring and record keeping. The published sheet does not state a separate minimum number of work-experience years for this YP role; do not import the consultant’s three-year requirement into it. Review the governing YP guidelines too.
