The NTA CSIR UGC NET December 2026 application window opened on October 7, 2026, and closed on November 5, 2026. Please note that the application deadline has passed. The fee payment deadline was also November 5, 2026, with correction windows open from November 10 to November 12, 2026. Application fees were structured as follows: ₹1,150 for General candidates; ₹600 for OBC, EWS, and NCL candidates; and ₹325 for SC/ST candidates, with an additional ₹500 for late fees where applicable. Online payment methods included debit cards, credit cards, internet banking, IMPS, cash cards, or mobile wallets.

Eligibility required candidates to have passed or appeared in a Master’s Degree in a relevant subject with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university or institution. For age limits, a maximum age of 30 years applied to Junior Research Fellowships (JRF), with age relaxations provided according to NTA regulations. The examinations were conducted on December 19, 22, and 27, 2026, via an online examination mode, with city details and admit cards made available prior to the exam. Results are pending updates. Candidates were directed to submit applications online through the official NTA website before the deadline.
