The National Testing Agency (NTA) released a notification for the NTA UGC NET/JRF December examination. Please note that the application deadline of 28 October 2026 has passed.

Important Dates:
– Application Start Date: 08 October 2026
– Application and Fee Payment Last Date: 28 October 2026 (Deadline has passed)
– Correction Window: 02 – 04 November 2026
– Exam Dates: 14 – 19 December 2026
– Admit Card and Results: To be updated / available before the exam.

Application Fees:
– General: ₹1150/-
– OBC, EWS, NCL: ₹600/-
– SC/ST: ₹325/-
– Late Fee: ₹500/-
– Payment Modes: Online via Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Card, or Mobile Wallet.

Eligibility & Age Limit:
– Eligibility: Candidates must have passed or appeared in a Master’s Degree examination in a relevant subject with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university or institution.
– Age Limit: Maximum age is 30 years for JRF, with age relaxations provided according to NTA regulations.

How to Apply:
– Eligible candidates were required to submit their applications online through the official NTA website before the 28 October 2026 deadline. Selection is based on an online examination.
