Choose Engineer Trainee 2026 through GATE 2026, under Advertisement CC/04/2025 and Notice 2 of 3 November 2026. The current split is Electrical 250, Civil 48, Computer Science 21 = 319. This already includes 10 backlog vacancies; horizontal PwBD reservations are not extra posts.
Apply online from 3 November, 5 PM to 18 November 2026, 11:59 PM, with the applicable ₹500 fee. SC/ST/PwBD/departmental candidates are exempt. No printed application is required by post.
Use the matching GATE 2026 paper and the accepted degree list. The parent notice’s standard upper-age condition is 28 as on 31 December 2025; the November notice does not replace it with a November cutoff. Keep the GATE admit card, scorecard and submitted application.
