RBI Delhi medical consultant recruitment 2026 invites applications for two part-time contractual posts for the bank’s New Delhi dispensaries. The official notice dated 2 November lists one Unreserved and one EWS vacancy.
The prescribed application in a sealed cover must reach the bank by Monday, 23 November 2026, 5 PM. This is a physical-receipt deadline; completing an online profile is not the application process described in the notice.
Who can apply?
Applicants need an MBBS from a recognised university in the allopathic system and at least two years of post-qualification practice in a hospital or clinic. General Medicine postgraduates can also apply. Read the Delhi Medical Council registration requirement.
Your residence or own dispensary must be within a 30-kilometre radius of the bank dispensary for which you apply. Assess the actual location requirement before choosing a posting.
Contract and indicative duty hours
The engagement is for three years, with no renewal on completion under the published terms. It does not confer regular bank employment or the benefits of a regular post.
| Dispensary assignment | Indicative schedule | Weekly hours |
|---|---|---|
| Sarojini Nagar and Hauz Khas | 3:15–6:45 PM at Sarojini Nagar; 7–8:30 PM at Hauz Khas, Monday–Saturday | 30 |
| Shalimar Bagh | 4–7:30 PM, Monday–Saturday | 21 |
RBI reserves discretion to change locations and hours for operational reasons.
Hourly pay: read the table and contract together
The notice lists ₹1,600 per hour for MBBS doctors with up to 20 years’ experience and ₹2,000 per hour for the more-than-20-year category. Its pay table also names MD doctors in the higher-rate row, while the later remuneration paragraph frames the rates by experience and Annexure-I uses different boundary wording.
Applicants with an MD or exactly 20 years’ experience should have RBI confirm the applicable rate. Qaskme is not resolving these wording differences. Pay is based on actual duty hours, not a guaranteed monthly salary. The notice treats ₹1,000 from monthly remuneration as conveyance and separately provides ₹1,000 monthly mobile reimbursement under its conditions.
